To create an aero bike that controls airflow, Bianchi borrowed ideas from innovative technology sectors, including automotive, aerospace and architecture. The goal is to lead the air to very specific areas of the frame, ensuring airflow is as close to the surfaces of the bike and rider as possible. The far-thinking design is enhanced by a judicious balance of paint and exposed carbon, creating a fearsome racing aesthetic that never for a second compromises on the overall weight of the Oltre.
The Oltre is also equipped with the best Velomann components: Aero handlebar and stem, seatpost and Seta saddle.
The Oltre was developed using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation software to predict the effects of drag and was wind tunnel tested.
Each detail of the Oltre is considered, analysed and refined, amplifying the efficiency and power of every pedal stroke. From the down tube to the seat post to the dropouts, every marginal gain has been harnessed.
